During the first five years of their life, children are able to learn at a rapid rate. An early learning curriculum is essential to our early learning program because children want and need to learn new information.  These curriculum resources focus on the importance of social skills including sharing, communicating, self-regulation, and practicing empathy which will set children up for success as they enter kindergarten. 

The Kansas Early Learning standards provide information and guidance to early learning teachers on the appropriate developmental sequence of young learners.  The Goddard Public Schools Early Learning curriculum and instructional practices are aligned to the Kansas Early Learning standards.
